ADIPEC 2025 concluded on a record-breaking note, delivering US$46 billion in cross-sector deals and welcoming more than 239,000 attendees, a 17% increase from last year. The event once again positioned Abu Dhabi as a global hub for innovation, energy leadership, and sustainable growth, reinforcing the UAE’s strategic role in shaping the world’s energy future.
Hosted by ADNOC under the theme “Energy. Intelligence. Impact.”, ADIPEC 2025 focused on delivering secure, diversified, and low-carbon energy while leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to accelerate the energy transition. The exhibition generated an estimated US$400 million in local economic impact, benefitting Abu Dhabi’s hospitality, tourism, and transport sectors.

A Call for Investment and Innovation
In his keynote address, Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and ADNOC Managing Director and Group CEO, emphasized the need for US$4 trillion in global investment across energy sources to ensure secure, sustainable, and inclusive growth. He called for pragmatic partnerships that drive job creation, economic resilience, and technological progress.
Abdulmunim Al Kindy, Chairman of ADIPEC 2025, echoed the sentiment, describing the platform as a vital force for uniting the entire energy ecosystem from policymakers and financiers to technology innovators and producers. “This year’s record participation reinforces ADIPEC’s key role in shaping a more secure and intelligent energy future,” he said.
Global Participation and Vision
The event hosted delegates from 172 countries and 54 leading energy companies including ADNOC, Aramco, ExxonMobil, BP, Chevron, Shell, TotalEnergies, and CNPC, alongside emerging innovators and AI pioneers such as IBM, Microsoft, and Mistral AI.
The Strategic and Technical Conferences featured over 1,800 speakers and 380 sessions, exploring how AI, data, and innovation can enhance energy efficiency, resilience, and sustainability. Ministers, CEOs, and engineers discussed energy diversification, climate action, and financing frameworks to ensure a balanced transition.
ADIPEC’s Role in Energy Evolution
Christopher Hudson, President of dmg events, said, “ADIPEC 2025 has been extraordinary from the number of deals signed to the innovation showcased. Over four days, we’ve seen ideas evolve into partnerships and investments that will shape the energy future.”
The event’s Finance and Investment Programme highlighted how new funding models can accelerate transformation across energy systems, while the Technical Conference, the world’s largest of its kind, showcased 203 sessions featuring cutting-edge technologies and practical solutions for decarbonisation.

Since ADIPEC 2019, the event has witnessed exponential growth in innovation, sustainability initiatives, and AI integration. What began as a traditional oil and gas exhibition has now transformed into a global sustainability and technology platform, aligning with the UAE’s Net Zero 2050 vision.
The shift from ADIPEC 2019’s focus on hydrocarbons to ADIPEC 2025’s emphasis on energy addition and AI-driven intelligence reflects the broader global transition towards clean and inclusive energy solutions.

Artificial intelligence was a central theme across the exhibition floor, with companies such as AIQ, Gecko Robotics, and SandboxAQ presenting smart solutions for optimizing operations, reducing emissions, and improving safety.
