Biography
Dr. Ninan Sajeeth Philip engages in deep-tech, machine learning and artificial intelligence research and consultancy projects for premium clients and governments in the US, Europe and India. He has authored several AI models and has more than 900 citations in about 50 international publications, including in the Nature Communications Journal. He has existing international bilateral collaborations with Caltech, Harvard, and Penn State universities in the USA. He also has completed bilaterals in AI research and development for South African Large Telescope and the African Institute of Mathematical Sciences in Cape Town and Cardiff University in the UK.
He has been a university professor with teaching experience of about 33 years, and has research collaborations with the Inter University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics, Cardiff University, the Astronomy department in Arizona State University, the African Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Caltech, Harvard, and Cape Town, and collaborative research publications with universities such as the Illinois State University and Monash University.
In a pathbreaking development, his team developed an AI solution for the easy identification of protein particles in micrographs in a few seconds, which in the conventional method used to take about a week.
He is also the inventor of the automated transmigration algorithm with the capability to boot and work a PC on Linux platform in less than one minute and run even high-performance computing software like TensorFlow and CUDA without installing any software.
Dr. Ninan has a Master’s in Physics and holds a PhD in Artificial Neural Networks.
